Although he went to Arizona for the 2019 season, Gilbert injured his knee before he could play a game for the cardinals and he opted out of the 2020 season due to the global pandemic.
Gilbert played in 88 games for the Steelers during his eight years in Pittsburgh, starting all but one of them.
