PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) This past Thursday was the fourth in the month of November, meaning it was Thanksgiving.
Hopefully everyone had a great day with family, friends, food, and football.
For Pittsburgh Steelers rookie, it was his first Thanksgiving holiday as an NFL running back.
With practices on surrounding days to the holiday, Harris did not go home but rather spent Thanksgiving dinner with head coach Mike Tomlin and his family.
While talking to reporters, Harris said that spending time with the Tomlins and talking about things other than football was a good bonding experience.
Even better for Harris, he didn’t have to make or bring any sort of dish.
It wasn’t a potluck and the rookie was able to show up and grub with his coach and a few other players.
Harris did get a chance to FaceTime with his family, because after all, Thanksgiving is a day for family… and football.
