Offensive tackle Dan Moore is now a former Steeler.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Tennessee Titans are signing the left tackle to a four-year deal, worth $82 million.
$50 million of that is guaranteed and he’ll make $30 million this year.
Rapoport says Moore is “the biggest (deal) for a tackle thus far.”
Moore was taken in the fourth round of the 2021 Draft by the Steelers out of Texas A&M.
He started in all 17 games this past season at left tackle.
He was in a competition with Broderick Jones for the left tackle starting job in camp, but after first-round pick Troy Fautanu went down with a season-ending knee injury, Jones moved to right and Moore was the starting left tackle.
With Moore gone and Fautanu recovering, the plan for the Steelers in 2025 is have Jones move back to his natural position, left tackle, and Fautanu will play right.
Despite scrutiny, Moore started 66 games in four seasons.
He was ranked as the 42nd best tackle by Pro Football Focus, the highest rating by a wide margin in his four-year career.
