This Sunday's game in Philly is the real 'free pass' game for Steelers
A few weeks back, The PM Team's Andrew Fillipponi says he would give the Pittsburgh Steelers a pass if they lost in Cleveland to the Browns.
That ended up happening, but the real pass game is this upcoming Sunday.
Fan Morning Show host says this Sunday's game is the least significant, significant game of the season.
The Steelers clinch a playoff berth with a win in Philadelphia on Sunday but even if they lose, they can still make the playoffs, depending on what happens in other games.
The Steelers are in if: Miami loses or ties against House and an Indianapolis loss or tie against Denver.
Some things to consider:
The Steelers haven't won in Philly since October 1965
BUT, Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has never lost to the Eagles (5-0)
The Steelers will be without their most dynamic offensive player with George Pickens dealing with a hamstring injury
BUT, there has been some drama between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown that could resurface on Sunday.
The Eagles are also a 5.5-point favorite.
It's going to be a tough game for the Steelers to win and while it will feel like a wasted opportunity if they play Philly well but come up short, a loss could still show the Steelers are one of the best teams in the AFC.
A bigger issue for the Steelers is this is the first game in 11 days. They have to turn around and play Baltimore next Saturday.
Then, on Christmas Day, they get the Chiefs at home.
