He was a guest on a hunting podcast called “On The Line.”

Hosted by professional archer Levi Morgan, pro angler Andy Morgan and hunter and fisher Matt Elliot, Roethlisberger talked about his passion for hunting and fishing.

Roethlisberger says he’s been friends with Morgan for years.

Ben talks about how much he loves living in the City of Pittsburgh, his family and a lot about fishing and hunting.

Talking during the podcast, Roethlisberger says that while he did some hunting growing up, he’s gotten into archery and other types of hunting in the past 10-15 years.

He also admits that football has been getting in the way of elk hunting and he’s excited to join former Steelers running back Merril Hoge next hunting season.

It wasn’t all hunting though, Roethlisberger said he appreciated what Tom Brady said about him after he retired.

In addition to hunting, Roethlisberger says he’s now his wife’s “personal assistant”, will golf more with his son and is planning to convert an old farmhouse near Pittsburgh into a place where fathers can connect with their sons.
