Steelers 18-year starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is once again going on the injury report this season.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday during his weekly press conference that Roethlisberger is dealing with some sort of hip injury.
The injury apparently happened in-game against the Packers.
Earlier this season, Roethlisberger suffered a left pectoral injury. He was limited in practice early in the week but played in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.
At 39-years-old, Tomlin said his concern for Roethlisberger's health and safety is not "out of the ordinary," adding "it's probably a component of just being in your late 30s and playing this game and playing that position and particular when you're not playing winning football and you get somewhat one dimensional, there's collateral damage that associated with that for him and for us."
Roethlisberger has been under fire from fans and football experts, questioning whether or not he still has what it takes to play in the NFL at 39-years-old.
Other injuries Tomlin talked about include offensive lineman Zach Banner with Tomlin saying they will continue to monitor him in practice as he works toward getting back on the field.
Tomlin added the quality and quantity will determine if Banner comes off IR.
Offensive lineman Chuks Okorafor (concussion) and wide receiver Chase Claypool (hamstring) who missed on Sunday will try to work their way back this week.
Tomlin had less information on cornerback Cam Sutton (groin) and offensive lineman Kevin Dotson (hip), who were injured in game along with Roethlisberger in Green Bay.
Roethlisberger has thrown four touchdowns and four interceptions so far this season with a 78.9 Passer rating.
