Steelers 2021 Draft class ranked 12th in NFL

Steelers' rookies Pat Freiermuth and Najee Harris

PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) While everyone looks ahead to the 2022 Draft, the NFL took a look back at the 2021 Draft and ranked the teams by their picks.

The rich get richer as the Kansas City Chiefs were picked to have the best draft in 2021.

But the Pittsburgh Steelers managed to land in the top half of the league with a 12th spot finish and a B grade.

A 12th place spot might seem a little high to some but when you look at the choices, it makes perfect sense.

Of the nine players chosen by the Steelers, eight of them started at least a pair of games in their first year.

Going further into the details, Najee Harris quickly blossomed into one of the top rushers in the league.

Pat Freiermuth looks like he can be a solid down-field target for the Steelers for many years.

Both Kendrick Green and Dan Moore Jr. started in every game they played in and could grow into solid performers on the offensive line.

Isaiahh Loudermilk and Tre Norwood only started in five game between the two of them but Loudermilk was called on for 15 games and Norwood played in each game.

His season may have been rocky but Pressley Harvin III did appear in 15 games through the season.

The Steelers may not be where they want to be with the skill on the field, but the 2021 draft class could pan out pretty well for them if everyone maintains solid growth in the NFL.
