Defensive tackle Carlos Davis was able to go full as was defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs. Ben Roethlisberger had his traditional Wednesday off.
Tackle Montravius Adams placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Titans injury news
There is a chance OLB Bud Dupree returns to play Sunday. It's the exact words Titans head coach Mike Vrabel used 'a chance to play'. Dupree has been out since week 10 with an abdominal injury.
Returning from ACL surgery after 19.5 sacks in his last 27 games, Dupree signed a five-year, 82.5 million-dollar contract with Tennessee in the offseason. The 28-year-old former Steelers first round pick has one sack this season in seven games with seven total tackles and a forced fumble.
Vrabel talks Ben
The Titans coach doesn't want to hear anything about Ben Roethlisberger's retirement or looking at his career.
"This guy is a Hall of Fame quarterback that we are trying to prepare for that has been fantastic when the games have been on the line," Vrabel said Wednesday. "When they've needed a spark, obviously they didn't want to get off to some of the starts they did. Watching the game last Thursday, I don't think anybody thought they weren't going to come back and win."
"Nobody throws a deep ball better than Ben Roethlisberger. We are really focused on what he is doing and how he is trying to attack us."
Vrabel on his Steelers start
A third-round pick of the Steelers in 1997, Vrabel would play four seasons with the Steelers, 51 games with no starts and seven sacks
"You start your career there with an unbelievable organization," Vrabel said. "It starts at the top with the Rooney family and everyone involved all the way down to the coaches. John Mitchell was my first position coach and he's still with the team. Jim Hazlett was my defensive coordinator, Jim is on our staff now."
"Just the type of people that have been there and that were there, Bill Cowher and the entire Rooney family. I think I learned a lot about professional football and what it should be from all the people that were there."
