PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – With more and more teams putting players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Steelers took one off on Friday.

Defensive tackle Montravius Adams returns to practice and likely the game on Sunday at Kansas City.  The 6'4", 304-pound Adams signed just before the Baltimore game and played that week.  He started a pair of games with four tackles and a pass defended adding depth to an injured unit.

Adams is a five-year NFL veteran playing 52 career NFL games with the Packers, Saints and Steelers with 51 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five passes defended, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs and running back Anthony McFarland were put on the COVID list on Thursday with linebackers Devin Bush and Marcus Allen along with offensive lineman Zach Banner going on the list on Wednesday.  Practice squad offensive lineman Malcolm Pridgeon went on the list on Monday.

Chiefs currently have 11 on the reserve/COVID list including receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce.  Kicker Harrison Butker is on the list and expected to miss the game on Sunday.
