Now that that the Steelers are 3-7, it's not looking like the Steelers will make it to the post season.
The team will have to go 6-1 to avoid a losing season, it would be Mike Tomlin's first and they'd likely need to go 7-0 to have a shot at the playoffs.
Analytics website FiveThirtyEight as the Steelers way down on the bottom of their list of probability of a team making the playoffs.
They're fourth from the bottom with a 1 percent chance.
Only the Bears, Broncos and Texans have worse odds with Houston having a less than .1 percent chance.
FiveThirtyEight gives the Steelers a .4 percent chance of winning the division and a .1 percent chance of winning the Super Bowl.
At the beginning of the season, the Steelers had a 31 percent chance of making the playoffs.
It wasn't expected to be a great season for Pittsburgh but down to a 1 percent chance of making the postseason is pretty depressing.
While it's hard to admit, the best thing for the Steelers is to keep losing to get a better draft pick and since the Steelers have Chicago's second-round pick from the Chase Claypool trade, let's hope the Bears continue to have less than a one percent chance of doing anything.
