PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers list almost everyone on the injured report as a full participant for practice Friday with wide receiver Chase Claypool out against Detroit Sunday.
It's a toe injury for Claypool with the understanding he is now week-to-week, but NFL Network reports he won't be out for the season.
The second-year receiver is third on the Steelers with 29 catches, second in yards with 433 and tops in yards per catch at 14.9. Offensive coordinator Matt Canada said on Thursday they would need a number of people to step up in Claypool's absence.
Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral/right shoulder), Cam Heyward (ankle), Najee Harris (foot), Eric Ebron (hamstring), LB Robert Spillane (ankle), DT Isaiah Buggs (hip) and Kendrick Green (hamstring) all listed as full contributors in practice on Friday.
