Steelers move practice to stadium, key player sick
Practice report before Steelers-Ravens
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Some have argued he could have been the Team MVP this season. When the Steelers left the snow-covered fields on the South Side for Acrisure Stadium Wednesday, they did so without kicker Chris Boswell.
The Pro Bowler was unable to practice due to illness. He was joined by defensive captain Cam Heyward, who had the flu during the loss to Cincinnati. Tight end MyCole Pruitt also missed practice with a knee injury. He was limited on Tuesday.
Guard Mason McCormick (broken hand) was a limited participant in those workouts Wednesday as he said he is optimistic but has to see how the full week plays out. He was wearing a brace, no cast on his hand.
Corner Donte Jackson discussed how this game can change everything about the Steelers season, he went through a second consecutive full practice. He's been dealing with a pinched nerve in his back. Jackson missed the Bengals game along with the previous matchup with Baltimore.
The four attempting to return from Injured Reserve, receiver Roman Wilson, linebacker Cole Holcomb, tackle Calvin Anderson and defensive lineman Logan Lee all practiced full.
Steelers will hold one more practice before heading to Baltimore.
