PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – First it was offensive coordinator Arthur Smith going to college, on Thursday it’s offensive line coach Pat Meyer heading to the Buffalo Bills according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Meyer started with the Steelers in 2022 and one thing you could say about his offensive lines is that they improved over the course of a season. The Girard, Ohio native worked with a number of combinations with Mason Cole his center early in his Steelers tenure. The team also spent a pair of first-round picks and a second-round pick rebuilding the offensive line.
Before coming to Pittsburgh, Meyer was the Carolina and Chargers offensive line coach. He started in the NFL as an assistant offensive line coach in Chicago and then worked for two years as an offensive assistant in Buffalo.
