PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers have lost another player to Injured Reserve, starting guard Matt Feiler placed there today after a pectoral injury.
Feiler was hurt during Sunday night’s loss to Buffalo, only to see rookie Kevin Dotson come in to replace him and have to leave with the same injury. There is no update to Dotson’s status.
Feiler started every game at left guard after moving to the position in the off-season. Feiler started all 16 games at right tackle for the Steelers last year and has started 40 games in four years after signing as an undrafted free agent out of division two Bloomsburg University.
The Steelers initial move was to activate defensive end Cassius Marsh to the 53-man roster.
Steelers did have veteran guard Stefen Wisniewski, but released him in November as he was eligible to come back from injury. Wisniewski has since signed back with Kansas City.
Listen to an update from head coach Mike Tomlin on 93.7 The Fan at noon on Tuesday.
