Steelers sign RB Edmunds and offensive tackle to Future/Reserve contracts


The Steelers have signed two more players to Reserve/Future contracts on Friday afternoon.

Running back Trey Edmunds who has spent the last four seasons on and off the practice squad is coming back.

The 27-year-old out of Maryland appeared in two games last season and had zero carries.

His 11 games in 2019 has been the most action he’s seen in a season for Pittsburgh. He had 22 carries for 92 yards.

Edmunds is the brother of Steelers free agent safety Terrell Edmunds. The Steelers selected Terrell in the first round of the 2018 draft and did not pick up his fifth year option for 2022.

The Steelers also signed Chaz Green to a contract.

He appeared in two games last season and has also spent time with the Cowboys, Raiders and Colts.
