PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers players reported to their training facilities Wednesday believing they will play at Tennessee but not knowing for certain after three Titans players and five staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

"There's no real uncertainty right now for us (as players) for what we're doing for our week," said defensive end Stephon Tuitt. "We're going to continue to do this week as if there's a game getting ready to be played on Sunday, until told otherwise."

And if told otherwise?

"If our game gets moved to whatever date it gets moved to, we will be prepared," Tuitt said.

This ready-to-play attitude doesn't mean that Tuitt and others aren't concerned with the NFL's first in-season outbreak of positive tests.

"Well, of course. That was one of the things that was so much preached before the season even started. A lot of guys have family members. A lot of guys have loved ones that they go back home to after they play this beautiful game."

Tuitt trusts what the NFL is doing, but, at the same time, wonders about things.

"I think the NFL, along with the medical doctors, have been doing a tremendous job in making sure that each player is tested every time, every opportunity that they get. I think the NFL is going to do a good job in making sure that before anybody steps on this field it's mitigated and the risk is low. This is something to learn from, and I'm very curious on how this is going to be handled."

This week's game matches two of the NFL's seven undefeated teams.
