From the second Watt walked off the field saying ‘I tore my pec,’ fans have been looking for every update they can find.

While the reports have spanned from season ending injury to six weeks, Watt himself finally broke his silence.

It was simple, but effective.

It’s unlikely Watt will repeat as defensive player of the year, but it’s reassuring that he himself believes he’ll be back this season.

No surgery was needed and Watt will only miss six weeks of football.
