Over the next weeks and months experts and fans will be debating who the Steelers should draft to get better in 2023.

Most experts say the team needs lineman on both the offensive lines and defensive lines.

Other say with the offensive line improving as the 2022 season progressed, another skill player in the early rounds may be best.

But the Steelers are going to have to be smart with their picks early on.

Finishing 9-8 and 3rd in the AFC North leaves them in the middle of the pack in the first-round with the 17th overall pick.

Then, the Steelers have the 32nd overall pick thanks to the trade with the Chicago Bears for wide receiver Chase Claypool.

It's the first pick of the season-round but the 32nd pick because Miami had to forfeit their pick after the NFL said they violated league policies.

The Steelers then have another second-round pick at 49.

They then pick 80th in the third-round and have the 117 pick in the fourth round.

After that, the Steelers don't have a pick until the seventh-round with two, 212 and 223 overall.
