'WR market is really bad right now' JuJu may not get the money he's expecting

It's believed that free agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will leave Pittsburgh for a big money deal elsewhere, but the money he's expecting may not be out there.

ESPN's Dianna Russini says she spoke to an unnamed free agent WR asking why there are still so many receivers still available.

"The WR market is really back right now," the receiver told her.

Bad news for JuJu, but could it mean he's coming back to Pittsburgh.

Probably not, but right now the news could be a little concerning for top WRs like JuJu.

Detroit's Kenny Golladay, Houston' Will Fuller, Carolina's Curtis Samuel, Indianapolis's T.Y. Hilton, Cleveland's Rashard Higgins and Tampa Bay's Antonio Browns are still on the market along with Smith-Schuster.

So the $16.1 million a year projection from Spotrac for Smith-Schuster (a total of $80.7 million over five years), may not be the number that JuJu sends up with.

NFL Free Agency doesn't officially kick off until 4 p.m. on Wednesday night so receivers could still be testing the market and once one goes, the rest may follow.

One option for Smith-Schuster would be to sign a one-year deal with Pittsburgh and then try to get a long-term deal when the cap skyrockets next year.
