93.7 The Fan’s Colin Dunlap was thinking about what his football picks would be for the first weekend of the NFL season on Friday morning, instead he prevented a man from breaking into Adam Crowley’s car.
During the pre-show of the Fan Morning Show, Dunlap told co-hosts Chris Mack and Dorin Dickerson about his early morning.
Dunlap says he pulled in to the station parking lot when he noticed a man was on the passenger side of producer Crowley’s car looking in the window.
As he pulled in, the guy popped up and walked away quickly.
Dunlap, thinking the guy was up to something met him in another parking lot, asking him what he was up do.
The man told him he was looking for his car, so Colin parked where he originally planned, turned his car off and sat in the car,
Dunlap says the man approached another car and then went back to Crowley’s car, this time on the driver’s side.
That’s when Colin got out of the car and approached the man and he said, “Listen, it’s going to happen one way or the other, either I’m going to grab you and knock you the hell out or you’re going to get the F outta here, because I know what you’re up too.”
The suspect took off and Colin called 9-1-1. He said within two minutes two local police officers showed up along with a PA State Trooper.
Crowley said the police searched the area for about an hour.
