Someone on eBay is profiting off of Ron Cook's good name.
Dozens of Ron's old media credentials are up for sale on the online marketplace, with some going for well over $100.
Colin Dunlap of the Fan Morning Show confirmed that Cook gave his old credentials to someone who is now selling them, unbeknownst to him.
Most of the press passes go to $75.00 but some, including a Super Bowl XXXIII pass going to $150.00.
There is even a 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates working press pass back when Ron was with the Beaver County Times
The seller Zartanthegreat1, does have a user rating of 100.0 percent, so he must be doing something right, with 7,336 items sold.
In addition to the Cook press passes, Zartan has 48 pages full of other sports memorabilia.
The biggest question remains, Is Ron getting a cut of this stuff?
