A right quad contusion is likely to keep Russell Westbrook off the floor for a second straight game, Rockes head coach Mike D'Antoni announced Saturday.
"Definitely doubtful," D'Antoni said prior to Saturday's practice, which Westbrook was not expected to take part in. "We just want to be really careful."
Westbrook suffered the injury during Tuesday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and he missed Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers, and even though he is unlikely to play against the Sacramento Kings, D'Antoni said he's confident he will play in 1-2 games before the start of the playoffs.
