Seattle Restaurant Week is here (and it's really TWO weeks long)

If you like to eat, this is an exciting time in and around Seattle -- Seattle Restaurant Week is back.

The first thing you need to know is that even though it says Seattle Restaurant WEEK right there in the name, it's really TWO weeks, so you have until Saturday April 16 to get in on the chance to sample some pretty great dining experiences without breaking the bank.

As you can see if you explore the SRW website, you have lots of options at various price points -- price points that the proprietors of these restaurants hope will get you in the door to sample some cuisine you may not have considered without the promise of a great value.

Also, even though it says SEATTLE Restaurant Week, a look at the interactive map shows you that you've got choices from Lynnwood to Bothell to Woodinville, from Issaquah to Tukwila to Burien.

If I had to pick right now, I'd probably head to Cantinetta in Wallingford or Bellevue for a great Italian meal. Or some perfect fried chicken at one of Bok a Bok's multiple locations. Or How To Cook A Wolf in my neighborhood of Madison Park in Seattle. Or fantastic Indian food at Nirmal's in Pioneer Square. Or . .. or . . . or . . .

So many choices, so many great meals to sample! Let me know where you land!
