Here's a fun family holiday outing you can take that has several pluses: You don't have to get out of your car, you pay by the carload, not the person (finally that minivan makes sense!), and it's almost guaranteed your family will be totally swept up in the spirit of Christmas after spending time among literally MILLIONS of incredible holiday lights and a festive Christmas soundtrack that plays right on your car radio as you drive through.

It's Christmas In Color, and it's happening now at Wild Waves in Federal Way.

Pretty cool, right? And the bonus to the whole experience is that a portion of each show’s proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington.

And if the holidays are inspiring a little generosity, guests have the option to choose an additional donation to the local Make-A-Wish chapter at the time of purchase.

I'm a big fan of Make-A-Wish and the incredible work they do for kids with critical illnesses. A few facts:

o   Nearly 600 kids in Alaska and Washington are currently waiting for their wishes.

o   With your support, you can help ensure these kids won’t have to wait any longer than necessary to have their wishes granted.

o   You can give hope and joy to a child who needs a wish in your community today.

o  If you’re looking for other ways to make a difference in your community this holiday season and beyond, consider becoming a wish-granting volunteer. You, too, can deliver life-changing wishes to children in your own backyard.

I hope you'll get to check out Christmas In Color for all the fun your family will have, and also to benefit families who have kids facing really tough challenges during the holidays and beyond.
