As part of their partnership with the rapper, Corona beer has provided 16”, 18” and 43” bobbleheads as promotional assets to display in grocery stores and fans just can’t seem to resist them.
The bobbleheads feature Snoop D-O-double-G in a dark jacket, shades and a gold chain, with a bottle of Corona in-hand while flashing a peace sign with the other. Issa vibe.
According to Police, who are currently investigating three bobblehead thefts in the Philly area between July 22 and August 21, the three-foot-bobble heads are worth about $300, but could sell for approximately $1,000 online.
“Snoop is an icon and we understand the allure," Corona VP/brand marketing Ann Legan, said in a statement. "Corona beer is all about living the fine life – that means appreciating what you already have, even if what you already have isn't a three-foot-tall replica of Snoop Dogg.”
Police have not determined whether or not they believe the thefts are connected, and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the bobblehead thieves by posting footage from store surveillance cameras.
