Conservative social media influencer Andrew Tate is now being sued by a former girlfriend, alleging physical and emotional abuse during a months-long relationship.
Tate, a former professional kickboxer and self-described misogynist, met Maxim and Playboy model Brianna Stern while both were in Romania last year, each trying to promote their respective cryptocurrency projects.

They began a relationship that, according to Stern, evolved into psychological and physical abuse to the point where she was choked and beaten in a Beverly Hills hotel room in early March.
Stern delayed filing a police report while she sought counseling and has now filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault, battery, gender violence, and negligence over 10 months.
She's seeking unspecified damages.
Tate, whose conservative viewpoints and over-the-top videos have generated over 10 million followers on X, has retained attorney Joseph McBride, calling Stern's lawsuit false, filed strictly for financial gain.
Tate, along with his brother Tristan, is also facing sex trafficking, rape, and organized criminal activity charges in Romania as well as charges of "sexual aggression" in the United Kingdom relating to incidents dating back more than a decade.
The Tate brothers have denied all allegations levied against them.
