Deputies investigated a reported bomb threat at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Monday morning, prompting the park to remain closed for a few hours.
The threat, in which someone allegedly claimed they planted explosives at the park, was reported just before 8 a.m.
L.A. County deputies and fire crews responded, bringing in a K-9 unit trained to detect explosives as they searched the area. The park has since been cleared.
Officials with the park said in a statement obtained by KTLA that the park would reopen at 12:30 p.m.
