A former State Parks Superintendent is accused of secretly recording lifeguards and sharing their nude pictures without their knowledge or consent.

According to Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer, Kevin Pearsall, 59, of Long Beach, was charged with “secretly filming nearly two dozen naked state lifeguards and other workers inside an employee locker room at the Bolsa Chica State Beach Lifeguard Headquarters in Huntington Beach and sending nude images of three different victims to two other men.”

Pearsall faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and up to 18 years in jail if convicted.

Spitzer also said that Pearsall is also accused of recording videos for almost a year, starting back in August of 2024.

A state park worker found a USB stick with a hidden camera last July.

Pearsall turned himself in on Tuesday and was released by a Judge. His arraignment is scheduled for August 6.
