Val Kilmer had not been in good health for years prior to his death, bedridden for the most part, according to TMZ. His body had been weakened by years of treatment for throat cancer. His last public appearance was at an event in 2019 with his daughter. Val Kilmer died from pneumonia at age 65 on Tuesday, April 1, the same day he was scheduled to attend the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Many celebrities have spoken about Val, including Kurt Russell, who talked about how he and Val had exchanged strange gifts after filming wrapped on their 1993 film "Tombstone." Kurt had given Val a burial plot in Boot Hill Graveyard, which is the historic cemetery in Tombstone, Arizona, where some of the Old West's most famous names have been laid to rest.
