A new video shows evidence in the It Ends with Us legal drama
"Beautiful Things" singer Benson Boone took part in an Australian tradition, taking part in a "shoey" - drinking from a shoe. He paused the show to drink water from a fan's cowboy boot (the act of doing a shoey typically involves drinking a beer from a shoe, but we'll give him a pass since he was performing). He said after taking a long chug from the boot, "Not bad, not bad. You have very good hygiene, miss."
Is Ariana Grande throwing some shade at Carrie Underwood? Carrie had an awkward performance at President Trump's inauguration, with a couple minutes of silence as she waited to begin since the music wouldn't start.
Carrie chose to perform a cappella after a few minutes of everyone waiting around, a choice some people dragged her for online. Ariana Grande liked one post, which mocked Carrie, and that has some people wondering if she, too, is shading her. Turns out, Mandy Moore also liked that post.
Wendy Williams has finally opened up about her controversial conservatorship, doing an interview by phone from the healthcare facility where she's currently living. Wendy, joined by her niece, said she is "not cognitively impaired" and that she feels like she's "in prison." Talking about the other residents at the facility, Wendy said "there's something wrong with these people here on this floor," implying this isn't the place for her. Her niece attested to her living conditions, saying, "They won't allow you to leave or have visitors…it seems like [Morrissey] made it difficult every which way for my aunt to be able to live any sort of healthy, independent life." She added that Wendy knows there could be repercussions for speaking out, like losing her phone, but she has to take that risk.
In the meantime, New York State Senator Anthony Palumbo was motivated by Wendy's case and is reintroducing "Karilyn's Law," to allow families to petition courts for visitation rights with loved ones under guardianship. The law would require guardians to justify blocked visits within 10 days, providing families with a legal path to see loved ones. Wendy appears to be in the facility against her will as she was placed under a conservatorship and appointed a legal guardian, New York lawyer Sabrina Morrissey, in 2022. She was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023.
Justin Baldoni's legal team plans to launch a website with evidence countering Blake Lively's claims of sexual harassment and retaliation on the set of "It Ends with Us." Footage already shared online shows the two joking during a slow-motion dance scene, including moments referenced in Lively's accusations. One example is Blake accused Justin of commenting on the scent of her tanning lotion, which made her uncomfortable, but the footage allegedly shows her leading into that comment by saying how she might get some of her tanning lotion on his clothes. The footage supposedly proves that the comment about the scent was in response to her comment.
