Shemar Moore's shocking announcement after S.W.A.T. finale
Jimmy Fallon and The Weeknd crashed a college graduation party at Fordham University for a surprise performance of "I Can't Feel My Face." Jimmy came out to DJ but then as he was playing Blinding Lights, The Weeknd came out to surprise the crowd. It was definitely unexpected but the students were very much into it. Even the Fordham mascot jumped into the action. Have you ever seen a ram take a selfie before?
At the Cannes premiere of her HBO documentary "My Mom Jayne," Mariska Hargitay revealed for the first time that her biological father is Italian singer Nelson Sardelli, not Mickey Hargitay, who raised her and who she still refers to as her "father." The film explores the life and legacy of her mother, Hollywood icon Jayne Mansfield, nearly 60 years after she died in a car crash when Mariska was three.
Friday night was the end (again) for "S.W.A.T." The two hour series finale aired, with Shemar Moore, who plays Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, posting his farewells and thank you's to Instagram. And then... Shemar posted another video last night, sharing, "The sad news…is we got canceled. We got canceled. But the good news is, we don't stop fightin'... we don't stop fightin'. And guess what happens when you don't stop fightin'? We won. 'S.W.A.T' ain't goin' nowhere. Hondo ain't going nowhere. There's a new version of 'S.W.A.T' coming your way.. and it's gonna be called 'SWAT Exiles'…Starts shooting this summer." The 10-episode series has no home as yet, but Sony Pictures Television is moving forward with high hopes.
Timothée Chalamet got rushed by fans after NY's win again Boston.
Timothée decided he couldn't pass up a little celebrating with the fans, but apparently celebratory New Yorkers are not big on personal space. As Tim stuck his head out of the car he was riding in, the crowd mobbed him and started slapping him on the back and banging his head, and at one point, they even tried pulling him through the window. Maybe those were the Boston fans.
I told you last week that RHONY star Sonja Morgan got into it with the owners of Tucci's in NYC, only to get blacklisted from the restaurant. Well, just days after that incident, TMZ reports that she was carted away from a Miami restaurant in an ambulance. Her explanation - "An elderly patron at the restaurant I was dining at appeared to be in distress, and I called for medical assistance. While assisting during the commotion, I sustained some minor injuries and, out of an abundance of caution, accompanied the EMTs to be checked out." Quiet dinners at home are suddenly sounding a lot better.
