The Sixers have already made one trade prior to today's NBA trade deadline, acquiring forward Tobias Harris from the Los Angeles Clippers.
General manager Elton Brand and head coach Brett Brown now have just a few hours left to pull off another one.
With the deadline to make a trade today at 3 p.m. EST, here are all of the latest Sixers rumors you need to know:
Markelle Fultz
Fultz's struggles with the Sixers have been well documented, as the former No. 1 overall pick has played in just 19 games this season. He has played in 33 games overall since being drafted, averaging 7.7 points and shooting just 26% from the three-point line. With a cap hit of $8.3 million this season and $9.7 next season, dealing Fultz is going to be crucial if the Sixers plan on signing both Jimmy Butler and newly-acquired Tobias Harris this offseason.
Jimmy Butlerlife is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.

February 7, 2019 Jimmy Butler is a 29-year-old vet on an expiring contract, seeking a max contract this summer, with a track record of being a disruptive teammate. Trading him should certainly be, at least, on the table for the Sixers today.
Mike ConleyNo surprise that @mconley11, despite recent injury history and contract situation, is so sought after right now. Has had an excellent bounce-back season and is widely regarded as a terrific locker room guy.

Wayne EllingtonThe Phoenix Suns will likely waive veteran guard Wayne Ellington, which would allow him to enter free agency, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium.
— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania)
February 6, 2019 Ellington is shooting 36% from the three-point line this season, but is a career 38% shooter from deep in 617 games of NBA experience. The 10-year veteran is averaging eight points in 21 minutes per game during his career. With the Sixers, Ellington would not only give them another shooter, but he would also be a valuable piece off of the bench, something the Sixers desperately need. You have to imagine Ellington would be interested in coming to Philadelphia, considering he is from the area and the Sixers are expected to make a deep playoff run.
Wesley MatthewsPer league source, Sixers have inquired about Wesley Matthews.Difficult to acquire via trade. If bought out, would expect Sixers to move in.

February 6, 2019 Wesley Matthews will agree to a contract buyout with the New York Knicks, and the Indiana Pacers are frontrunners to sign Matthews, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium.
— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania)
February 7, 2019 If Matthews does indeed hit free agency, it will be interesting to see if he decides to join the Sixers. Matthews would certainly have plenty of minutes available to him in Philadelphia, and it would give Matthews a chance to play for a team that has a legitimate chance of going to the NBA Finals. Matthews would fill a huge need on the Sixers as a perimeter defender and another shooter, as Matthews is a career 38% shooter from three. The fit between the two sides seems like a natural one.
