Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is making his return to the NFL, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports he is signing with the Los Angeles Rams.

Rams starting QB Matthew Stafford has a UCL sprain in his right thumb, but the Rams seems optimistic he will return for the team's next game on November 19th against the Seahawks, as they have their bye week this week.

Wentz, 30, spent his first five NFL seasons with the Eagles before being traded to the Colts in 2021 and then against the Commanders in 2022, struggling at both stops.

The Eagles' second overall pick in 2016, Wentz tore his ACL in Week 14 of the 2017 season against the Rams in Los Angeles. Nick Foles took over for Philadelphia and led them to the first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
