Jason Kelce's (and Travis Kelce's) father, Ed Kelce, joined Angelo Cataldi on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl LVII showdown between both of his sons.

Ed pointed out in 2013, Chip Kelly's first season as Eagles head coach, Philadelphia passed on Travis (selecting TE Zach Ertz in the second round), who ended up being drafted in the third round by Andy Reid and the Chiefs.

"It's something I started dreaming about in 2013 when Chip passed on Travis and Travis ended up getting drafted by Andy [Reid]," Ed Kelce said on Friday. "The thought then was, boy maybe one of these days I can see the two of them in the Super Bowl.

"As this season went along, particularly as we got a little bit further into the season—you know around Thanksgiving or so. I thought, phew, this could really happen. And low and behold, despite injuries to [Patrick] Mahomes and injuries to Jalen [Hurts], here we are."

Ertz, of course, went on to have an amazing tenure with the Eagles and is currently the franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns as a tight end. However, it's hard not to think about Travis and Kelce both being lifelong Eagles after that story.
