Former NFL QB turned analyst Robert Griffin III defended Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts on 94WIP.
"Jalen Hurts is an RPO QB and there's nothing wrong with that," RGIII told Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio live on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show from Radio Row at the Army-Navy game in Maryland.
"People want him to be a drop back passer and that's not what he is. How many QBs are throwing the ball 45, 50 times a game and actually winning games? Jalen is a winner."
When asked about this week's Eagles' drama and A.J. Brown's postgame "passing" comment, resulting in a bit of a media blowout, RGIII pointed the finger at Philadelphia fans and media.
"You guys can't be happy about anything," RGIII said. "Y'all won NINE STRAIGHT GAMES! "I think Philly fans are having a little [PTSD]. But this year is not the same...When I hear A.J. Brown say 'passing,' I agree...but you are winning games!"
