Additional charges for woman in death of DOT worker

New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - A woman already facing charges in the death in June of a state Department of Transportation worker is now facing additional charges.

New Haven State's Attorney John Doyle is now charging Denise Lucibello, 55, with manslaughter.

Lucibello was behind the wheel when she allegedly struck and killed Andrew DiDomenico, 26, of Meriden on June 28.

DiDomenico was working on the Wharton Brook Connector to Interstate 91 when he was fatally struck.

Lucibello had been previously charged with a number of offenses, including misconduct with a motor vehicle, DUI, illegal operation of a motor vehicle on a suspdended license, and failure to slow down/move over.

The outcome of a State Police investigation resulted in additional charges filed against Lucibello.

She's due in court in Meriden October 18.
