Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - The state Department of Consumer Protection is releasing figures on the first week of sales of recreational adult use marijuana.
Since the sales began January 10, Connecticut has taken in just over $2 million.
That first day saw businesses net $359,000 collectively.
The total number of units sold in that first week was just over 45,000 at an average price of $44.24.
The data doesn't include taxes at the point of sale and is subject to further review, said DCP.
The department said future data will be available at ct.gov/cannabis and will be updated monthly on or after the 10th of the month.
