HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford tops Zillow's list of the top 50 hottest markets in 2026.
Last year, Connecticut's Capitol City ranked fourth in the survey.
Zillow's rankings are based on past and expected home sales, how quickly homes are sold, how often sellers cut prices, and how many homes sold over list price.
The survey finds a nation-high 66% of homes in Hartford selling over asking price.
The cost of housing in Hartford are expected to continue to rise this year.
