New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - New London police are charging a man with child abuse.
Under arrest is 41-year-old Michael Gregor.
Investigators say they were called to a domestic violence incident on January 29 where they found a malnourished child living in squalor with evidence of abuse.
The child was taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and then Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment and did survive the injuries.
Gregor faces a litany of charges including strangulation, assault, cruelty to persons, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, and risk of injury.
Bond was set at $750,000.
