
STRATFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Stratford Police detain several persons of interest in connection with a weekend shooting that injured a man.
Police responded to the report of a shooting on Garibaldi Avenue around 9:15 on Saturday night, where two .40 caliper shell casings were found.
A man had been shot in the leg.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim refuses to cooperate with detectives, according to police.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted near the scene of the shooting.
Several people were taken into custody at that time but no further information about their possible connection to the case has been released.
No firearm has been located either.
