St. Louis Mayor-elect Tishaura Jones is open to possibly appointing new city members to a stalled city-county Board of Freeholders that would study changes in the structure of area government.
Her spokesman said she would work with the county leaders to move the entire region forward. Jones and St. Louis County Executive Sam Page met Wednesday but Page’s spokesman said the freeholders issue did not come up in the meeting.
