The National Police Association is criticizing the creation of a commission to investigate the events that took place at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
NPA Spokesperson Betsy Brantner Smith (ret.) joined Brad Young, in for Annie Frey, to discuss the organization’s opposition. Smith says there is no excuse for the events that took place and there are questions that need answers, however, the commission will lead to more political theater meant to divide not discover the truth.
