The Supreme Court ruled in favor of former student-athletes who claimed that the NCAA had illegally restricted education-based benefits that could have been used to compensate student-athletes.
However, Justice Neil Gorsuch made it clear that the NCAA can still enforce rules forbidding paying salaries to student-athlete or giving them gifts to lure them to programs.
