Breitbart reports that GOP political consultant Karl Rove had prior knowledge of the contents of the now-public affidavit filed by Sheena Greitens, the ex-wife of former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
The report contradicts a statement Sheena Greitens made earlier this week:
Additionally, the report asserts that a “top ally” of Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell employs Sheena Greitens’s sister at three separate political consulting firms.
Breitbart names Steve Hantler, a “well-known figure behind the scenes in the GOP donor community” as the confidante. In response, Rove issued a statement to Breitbart denying Hantler’s account of the events.
“When people know the political operatives by name… I guarantee you our support from patriots around the state of Missouri rises,” Eric Greitens told Marc Cox.
