OPINION: SAPA mostly a ‘middle finger’ to the federal government

#2A Tuesday with Emily Taylor of US Law Shield

The Second Amendment Preservation Acts (SAPA) in multiple states are largely symbolic, Second Amendment sanctuary bills aimed at limiting the federal government's power.

Emily Taylor, an attorney with US Law Shield, says, unfortunately, the federal government can simply send their own law enforcement bodies to enforce these laws if states choose to circumvent them. Taylor also points out that the federal government likes to use its purse strings to get what they want so even without challenging the law in court, the federal government can easily overcome issues.
