Media outlets are reporting that the Republican lead is dwindling as we get closer to the midterm elections. Democrats have pointed to inflation slowing and gas prices declining since their all-time highs as positive markers for the party as November approaches. Cassie Smedile of America Rising says that ultimately inflation is still high and so are fuel prices.
"The only ones to blame are the Democrats because they are in charge of every level of power at the federal level,” says Smedile.
Smedile says she has a more positive outlook on Republicans' chances in November than she did before the primary elections. She identified two Senatorial races that could flip for the GOP and raise their chances of taking both the house and the senate this year.
