Missouri State Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman announces bid for Congress as Rep. Luetkemeyer plans retirement

As the Reardon Roundtable kicks off, Mark Reardon welcomes Missouri State Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman to announce her candidacy for Congress after Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer announces his retirement at the end of his term.

“I’m super excited, I wanted to make sure that you were okay with me telling everybody today that I’m running for Congress. So, a huge, big deal. I had not thought that that’s what I would say on Friday afternoon,” Missouri Senator Coleman shares.

She also said, “I don’t want to hesitate, I’m not shopping for which office. I care a heck of a lot about the people of Missouri. I’ve got six kids and it matters who’s there and who’s fighting for us. Let’s go, it’s time!”
