Padres announce Andres Munoz had Tommy John Surgery

The Padres announce that RHPs Andres Munoz and Reggie Lawson have undergone Tommy John surgery.  Munoz had a 3.91 ERA with 30 strikeouts and 11 walks in 23 innings pitched during the 2019 season.  Lawson has yet to make his Major League debut.  Neither pitcher is likely to be available to pitch in the 2020 season. 

The #Padres have announced that RHP’s Reggie Lawson and Andres Muñoz underwent successful ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction surgery (Tommy John) today on their right elbows.
