The Padres announce initial 52 player pool for 2020

The San Diego Padres have announced their initial 52 man player pool for the upcoming 2020 MLB season. They will be allowed to have up to 60 players.  The roster includes several highly touted prospects, including Mackenzie Gore, Luis Patino, Michel Baez, Joey Cantillo, C.J. Abrams, Gabriel Arias, Taylor Trammell, Luis Campusano and Robert Hassell III.  The group of players consists of 26 pitchers, 5 catchers, 12 infielders and 9 outfielders.
