The Padres beat the Colorado Rockies 14-13 Sunday afternoon to leave Denver with a split of a 4 game series that truly had it all. Trailing by 3 runs going into the 9th inning of a series finale that had already featured delays due to both broken sprinklers and the threat of lightning, all the Padres did was mount a 4-run comeback capped off by an RBI walk to Wednesday's projected starting pitcher Matt Strahm. With 92 combined runs between the two teams, the four game series breaks a Major League record which had previously stood for 90 years. The Padres will do their best to rest up and regroup as they return to San Diego to open up a 3 game set with the Milwaukee Brewers starting Monday night.
